So one of the weddings that started it all happened in June and was a pretty intense day. Setting off early doors from Scarborough to Liverpool, driven by my ever obliging husband (who got a steak dinner out of it!).
I had only ever spoken to Claire on the internet and we had never met in person, which all turned out fine as the hairdresser thought we had been friends for years even though we had only just met!
The ceremony was held in St George's Hall and the night do was in the Head of Steam across the road. This gave us some amazing photo opportunities outside the hall and in the gardens behind the hall, which is where Tony had proposed to Claire!
The day itself was wonderful, the sun shone, there were Game of Thrones references peppered throughout the day and the Groom climbed on a stone lion. What's not to love about that?
